Two weeks ago, we attended the Prep Redzone Battle at the Bluegrass 7v7 tournament at Elizabethtown Sports Park in Kentucky. So many talented prospects were on-hand for the event. Among the standouts were Class of 2029 wide receiver/safety Trayonn Hill out of St. Mary’s High School (Mo.). We caught up with Hill after the event about his recruiting, football, and what he is looking for in a college team.
When did you start playing football? How did your interest start?
I got interested in football when I was five years old. I got interested because football just always ran in my family. I was always blessed with my height and athletic abilities.
What motivates you to play the game every day?
The thing that motivate me to the play the game everyday is my family. I said my family because every day, my family didn’t really have it. So I wanna make it pro so I know my family will have it.
What part of football do you enjoy the most?
The part of football I enjoy the most is when got the pads on because I like to hit. Also, I like to get coached and learn the game from pros.
What about football do you find to be challenging?
Something I find challenging about football is joining a new team and finding a connection with my new team. Also, learning new plays with new teams is the hardest thing to do.
What are you looking for the most in a college program?
The thing I am looking most for in a college program I go to is the coaching and rehab that the team gets. I want to have the best of the best coaching me at my position. I also want my team rehab to be (elite), so I also have a good practice or game.
