When did you start playing football? How did your interest start?

I started playing flag football in kindergarten, but didn’t play tackle until seventh grade. My interest started mainly because of my Dad and older brother. Since I can remember my dad (Francis St. Paul) has been apart of football, he coached college and has been a NFL scout (for the Bears) most of my life. Seeing my older brother play football also inspired me to want to play at an early age.

What motivates you to play the game every day?

What motivates me to play football everyday is that I get to play the game I love. The game provides me the ability to work hard and get better, and just knowing I’m doing something I enjoy and could potentially do for a long time keeps me motivated.

What part of football do you enjoy the most?

The part of football I enjoy the most is definitely the process of getting better and seeing myself improve. I then put that improvement onto the field, seeing it all work out and the hard work pay off is a really good feeling.

How have you been planning over the off-season to make your team better and win state?

Over this offseason I’ve been trying to really focus on getting better in the parts of my game I need improvement. I’m working on getting stronger, this will help overall game and will also help my team win games. I’ve been trying to grow that connection with my teammates, especially since I’m just transferring from a different school. I’ve been going to all the morning workouts with the team, playing seven on seven with my new QB and the other receivers. I will continue to get to know the team and build that chemistry that will help win games!

What are you looking for the most in a college program? Who are some of the teams you’re interested in?

What I’m looking for in a college program is definitely a school that’s going to help develop me and challenge me to be the best I can.  I want the program to have a vision for what I can do for the team and use me how they see fit, if that’s redshirting me or starting early. As a receiver, I would want to play for a college program that likes to throw the ball.
